3.19

I missed the first part of West Civ today, but I still got plenty out of it. Mr. Schick said something that really stuck in my mind. "The people of ancient egypt would never even think of rising up against unfair pharoah, but the people of Greece Did do something to help themselves when it came to an unworthy ruler." This is where democracy sprouted, where the common people began to have a chance to make things right for themselves. Ancient Greece's practices may be old, but they certainly aren't out of date.
