2.5.14

Today in class we started working on presentations for class. I am working on crops with Caitlyn, jayla, and Trish. I got started on wheat. Wheat is the crop that concumes the most farmland in the whole world, producing 600 million tons of wheat annually. It also interested me that wheat was genetically modified by the people in prehistoric times.they clearly had some subconscience knowledge of the matter. The reason for this genetic modification was the wheat was too crumby to pcik, and the bread didn't taste as good. This wheat that was modified is the wheat that all of us eat today. This wheat ws a huge csh crop for the Europeans, as it wa brought over to the americas, austrlia and asia, because it could tolerate different climates.
